Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of AuditWise, a SaaS-based Audit Workflow Management Software, provided by ByteWise Techlabs LLP. ("Company"). All users ("Users") must comply with this AUP while accessing and using AuditWise.

 

1. Purpose

This AUP is designed to ensure that AuditWise is used lawfully, ethically, and responsibly. Users must adhere to this policy to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use AuditWise to:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Use

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or contractual obligations.

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities.

  • Distribute, store, or transmit any illegal, offensive, or harmful content, including child exploitation, hate speech, or violent threats.

2.2 Security Violations

  • Attempt to hack, penetrate, or gain unauthorized access to AuditWise or related systems.

  • Distribute viruses, malware, or engage in phishing attempts.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of AuditWise.

2.3 Misuse of Data & Privacy Violations

  • Collect, store, or process personal data without proper authorization or legal basis.

  • Share confidential or proprietary information without consent.

  • Violate any applicable data protection laws.

2.4 Excessive Use & System Abuse

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or software to overload or abuse system resources.

  • Engage in unauthorized scraping, indexing, or data mining.

  • Attempt to bypass security features or restrictions placed on user accounts.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Keep account credentials secure and do not share them with unauthorized individuals.

  • Report security vulnerabilities or suspicious activities immediately to the Company.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Use AuditWise only for its intended purpose within the scope of the Master Services Agreement (MSA).

4. Monitoring & Enforcement

4.1 The Company reserves the right to monitor, investigate, and take appropriate action against any suspected violations of this AUP.

4.2 In the event of a violation, the Company may:

  • Suspend or terminate user accounts.

  • Restrict or remove access to AuditWise.

  • Report unlawful activities to regulatory authorities.

​

5. Reporting Violations

Users can report any suspected violations of this AUP by contacting compliance@auditwise.io

​

6. Amendments

The Company may update this AUP from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes through AuditWise notifications or official communication channels.
